"Mind"could provide you with assistance when applying for ‘PIP’. Additionally they may be able to help with affordable counselling (eligibility required).





You could benefit from having a "Radar Key" so you are able to use disabled toilets when out in public with ease. An official Radar keys cost about £5, including postage and packing. These can be bought from participating local authorities or the DisRightsUK shop.
Toilet Access


You could be eligible for the national express ‘Disabled Coachcard’. Save ⅓ off any peak or off peak fare when travelling via coach across the UK. The card costs £10 and is valid for one year.

‘Charlotte’s Tandems’ is a registered charity that lends, for free, tandems and tag-alongs to people with disabilities or additional needs, who are unable to ride a bike safely on their own, so that they can enjoy the wonders of cycling.
Priority Services Register
You could be eligible to join the ‘Priority Services Register’ to better assist you in the event of emergencies, disruptions to your water supply and general difficulties. Contact your water company. Ofwat is the economic regulator of the water sector in England & Wales.

Get Outdoors
Get outdoors at the National Trust. Free admission for carers at National Trust and English Heritage properties.
Both the National Trust and English Heritage give free entry to companions or carers of disabled visitors. The disabled visitor pays the normal admission fee or membership. Simply request a Card from the National Trust. No Eligibility Required.

Blue Badge
From the 30th August 30 2019 apply-blue-badge.service.gov.uk will allow people with hidden disabilities to apply for a blue badge through their local council. Which will therefore open up the scheme for those with dyspraxia.


Dependent on the requirements/eligibility needs of your council you will most likely need to prove and inform with some further information.
Access Card

See if you are eligible for

The card will cost you
a one of fee of £15
and will last 3 years!
Council Tax
Check with your local council to see if your eligible for a discount which could reduce the amount of council tax you pay. Vist the gov.uk website for more details.


Free Gas saftey Check
You may be eligible to receive free annual gas safety checks if you own your home. According to EDF Energy to be eligible you must have proof of disability and receive a means tested benefit details.
